Out and about in Freshers Week

As university students begin the Autumn term, DKMS is working to raise awareness and seek student volunteers to carry our message across the UK.

Last week, our wonderful volunteers Erin and Tove, from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh organised a swab station at the university's Freshers fair to raise awareness of blood cancer and register fellow students as stem cell donors.

Over the next few weeks, we will be at the following universities' freshers fairs. This is an opportunity to find out more about our Student vs Blood Cancer activities and register as a potential blood stem cell donor.

• Wednesday 21 September: Kingston University
• Thursday 22 September: Buckingham New University
• Tuesday 4 and Thursday 6 October: Stirling University.
