Twenty-five year old Inderpal Singh inspired hundreds of people to register to go on standby to save a life with us at an event in Birmingham this week. Inderpal is seriously ill with leukaemia and a matching blood stem cell donor is being sought for him to treat it. The event was organised to help find a donor for him and all those in need of a lifesaving donation. It took place at the Guru Nanak Gurdwara in Sparkhill with several members of Inderpal’s family helping us run the event.

It took place at the Guru Nanak Gurdwara in Sparkhill with several members of Inderpal’s family helping us run the event.
As well as people swabbing the inside of their cheeks to register, there was a cake sale to raise money to cover the costs of registering new potential donors.
It was great to see how much support there is for Inderpal.
