The South West (formerly Wiltshire) Hub was initially set up by Lauren Hogarth in 2017. It is the smallest hub, covering the southwest of the UK.
The hub has organised drives across Wiltshire and Gloucestershire at hospitals, farmers' markets and at RAF Brize Norton. They have also attended festivals such as Swindon and Wiltshire Pride in 2019 and focused on businesses in the area to run corporate drives.
In 2022, Lynda Griffiths took over the helm of Hub Lead. The hub is active holding swab drives and raising awareness in universities, corporate events and large festivals such as WOMAD festival.
Each of the volunteers has their own unique story of how they came to join DKMS South West Hub, but all share the same passion and drive. To promote the DKMS vision and ultimately, find those all-important matches.
Help us increase the chances for patients across the UK and the world, to find a matching donor who has the potential to save their life. Be a lifesaver...become a potential blood stem cell donor.
If you're unable to join the register but would still like to help, get in touch below to find out about local volunteering opportunities and others ways to support DKMS.
Watch out for details of our upcoming events.
If you are unable to attend any of our events on the day, please register for a kit to be sent to your home or click 'Become a donor' at the top of the page.
By registering as a donor you could help someone like our patients below, who are each looking for their potential match, but there are many more.
The hub is on the lookout for volunteers. If you live or work in the southwest region of the UK and would like to get involved, please contact us.
