On the Beach

DKMS partners with On the Beach

We are excited to be working with travel agent On the Beach, who are based in Manchester. We went live with the partnership on the 30 October 2024, with the team already committing themselves to a sponsored bike ride in Spain 2025!!! It’s going to be an exciting partnership and we are really excited for lots of volunteering opportunities and fundraising events planned for the new year.

"Hi, I'm Jenny Cronin, Chief People Officer at On the Beach. We chose DKMS as our charity of the year because it's personal to us, and we believe in the work that they do and much love. Our much-loved colleague, Andy Clague, sadly passed away in 2018 after a long battle with non-Hodgkin Lymphoma with no stem cell donor matches on the register to help him. We're committed to supporting DKMS in raising awareness of their work and growing the stem cell register to help more people find their match and give them a second chance at life. We have a number of fundraising events planned like the internal Great Beachin' Bakeoff today and next year, we have an enormous bike ride in Majorca. It's great to see so many people in our team getting involved in what's a really, really important cause for us." Jenny Cronin, Chief People Officer at On the Beach.

Barrings

We are delighted to have been chosen by employees of Barings Bank to receive a grant and be one of their chosen charities in 2024. The grant will cover registering an incredible 345 potential life savers. We will also attend the annual ‘Better with Barings Charity Fair’ to meet staff and share the work of DKMS.

Tilbury Douglas

Over the past few years, we have maintained a close partnership with Tilbury Douglas, working together to save lives by registering over 190 employees and raising funds through various fundraising events to support DKMS.

The joint donor drives that were delivered went very smoothly, and all the literature and relevant training were provided. Chaos Cookie

We are very excited to be working with the game developer company Chaos Cookie on their cute & cosy mobile game Squarelets! We are currently working on integrating DKMS into the weekly puzzle game for a launch on iPhone & Android phones very soon! So, watch this space!
