DKMS is thrilled to announce limited spaces for the iconic London Marathon 2026. Imagine running 26.2 miles past London’s most celebrated landmarks, joined by 40,000 fellow runners and cheered on by hundreds of thousands of enthusiastic spectators—all while giving more people with blood cancer a second chance at life.
How to Secure Your Spot:
1. Public Ballot:
- The public ballot is a lottery system—enter for free for a chance to get a place.
- There’s no fundraising requirement, but if you get a spot, you can still run for DKMS and raise money.
- The ballot usually opens soon after the 2025 marathon.
2. DKMS Charity Places:
- To increase your chance of getting a spot, you can apply for a DKMS charity place.
- If your application is successful, there will be a £50 registration fee and a minimum fundraising target of £2,000.
- Applications open at 9am on 21st April and close at 5pm on 25th May.
- Apply by clicking "Apply Now" or emailing fundraising@dkms.org.uk.
